Resumen
The human safety analysis defines the evacuation capacity and provides the minimum requirements for the operation, design and maintenance of buildings where the lives of the people who inhabit them can be assured. The analysis proposed for the facilities of the Technological Faculty of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, focuses on the review of minimum requirements in human safety, taking the criteria given by the Colombian Construction Regulations for Earthquake Resistant NSR 10, in titles J and K; and the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. The intention of this project is to analyze the current state of the facilities in the Technological Faculty of the Fráncico José de Caldas District University and obtain a vision of the human security conditions offered by the spaces and means of evacuation in an emergency event. In the event of finding non-compliance with the minimum requirements given by the Colombian Construction Regulation for Earthquake Resistant NSR 10, in titles J and K; and the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, once the analysis has been carried out, strategies will be proposed to correct or minimize the negative effect of these breaches.
