The herbaceous vegetation is a element so have influence in the diversity, so that find asociated to get ecologic succession in a ecosystem, so, is pertinent the exploration to current herbaceous vegetation in the BM, so, since his study we can to supply trustworthy information about the conservation condition of forest contributing to the restoration process so take place currently from Botánic Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis. The finally of this investigative work would have to characterize the herbaceous vegetative layer in the BM in first place, by means of development of a inventory; as well as the categorization of found species in functional groups, establishing the distribution and recoveryof a climax vegetal comunity for the BM by means of his signing in SIG of the determinated points as contribution to the functional diversity of this ecosystem.
