Abstract

This monograph expresses the work that was carried out around a problem detected in a classroom experience on the learning processes of algebra, in relation to the narrative of the story with eighth and ninth grade students, since it will be repaired appreciate difficulties related to the use of algebraic language and lack of understanding. As a result of this, an attempt was made to approach the investigative work on the objective of "Identifying how the eighth-ninth grade students of the Restrepo Millán IED school constitute the generalization and symbolization of patterns from the resolution of problems through the didactic device of the story tales" since From there, it was possible to answer the question "How did the eighth-ninth grade students understand the resolution of problems focused on the generalization and symbolization of patterns through the didactic device of the story tales?"
