Resumen
The cancellation culture is a new form of denunciation that has gained importance in recent years with the rise of social networks. This consists of the practice of excluding, silencing or “canceling” people, companies or brands due to a fact, comment or attitude not accepted by an individual, this exclusion from the debate is normally used to draw attention to phenomena of discrimination in popular digital culture, which leads us to resignify this mechanism to the term “digital censorship”. This has been criticized for being excessive and for not allowing dialogue, reflection and learning for the people or groups involved, which can be understood as an extremist view of liberalism, which therefore does not give the possibility that the accused person can apologize or be heard; this generates a series of problems for the individual canceled, such as loss of employment, the elimination of their contracts, elimination of their reputation, mental problems and even death. This subgenre of culture, although a recent social phenomenon, has become important because with the advent of social networks, the consumer public has made use of them to express their thoughts, either about their daily lives or taking reference to the actions taken by public personalities such as artists, politicians or influencers, in order to demonstrate their position with what they say, do or think. This is why this work proposes the creation of a podcast that explains this concept product of a digital society, in addition to presenting to a young and adult audience, the case of cancellation of the writer, professor and columnist Carolina Sanín, due to comments and publications made by her, throughout his career
