Elaboración del sistema globalmente armonizado de las materias primas utilizadas en la Empresa Pharmaderm S.A para dar cumplimiento al decreto 1496 del 6 de Agosto de 2018 vigente en Colombia

Abstract

According to the International Labor Organization, "chemical safety has been one of the areas that has been most developed in the field of safety and health at work", and through law 55 of 1993 in Colombia it was approved Convention 177 on the safety in the use of chemical products at work, however, even though in recent years significant progress has been made regarding regulations and the management of efforts to minimize the negative effects of substance use dangerous, progress is still insufficient (…) workers who are directly exposed to dangerous substances must have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment, and to be properly informed, trained and protected ”1 In order to promote actions that contribute to the protection of the health of workers during the activities of handling, production and storage of chemical substances in the Company PHARMADERM SA and in compliance with law 55 of 1993 which requires the authorities to establish systems for the classification of chemical products and the assessment of risks for the health of workers and Decree 1496 of 2018, by which the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemical Products is adopted, the aim is to implement the system in which the identify and classify the hazards of chemical substances, propose a model for labels and control of the chemicals used most frequently in the company.
