Resumen
The project focuses on the design and development of a supervision, control, and demand management system for electric power using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to optimize the use of electrical resources. The primary issue lies in the increase in electricity demand and the need to implement solutions that enhance consumption efficiency, especially in environments with fluctuating demand and limited energy sources. The lack of real-time monitoring and adequate demand control leads to inefficiencies and higher energy consumption. The project’s objective is to develop an IoT-based system that enables real-time supervision, control, and management of electrical demand, providing tools to reduce consumption in single-phase and three-phase installations. The system uses devices such as the Raspberry Pi and PZEM004T sensors to capture electrical variables and employs communication protocols like Modbus and MQTT for data transmission. A mobile application has been developed with .NET MAUI for remote visualization and control of electrical variables. The system is expected to provide technological tools that facilitate electrical demand management, reduce electrical consumption, and enable users to make informed decisions, thereby contributing to the sustainability and optimization of energy resources.
