Resumen
The present work arises from the areas of mathematics and physics, which consists of using a series of activities around the number of gold as a strategy for the teaching of mathematics in the education by cycles of mothers head of household in condition of vulnerability, attached to the project Women for Life of IDIPRON which seeks to guarantee the right to education to women who, because of their social and economic status, have been excluded from the training processes; With the aim that the logical and mathematical tools that can be cultivated in the students from the classroom, serve to develop their critical thinking, understood as the ability to create and argue ideas, in order to dignify their role and increase their participation in the different scenarios wherever they can interact.
