Resumen
The healthcare system in Colombia faces several challenges, with one of the biggest being the efficiency in medication distribution. Frequently, there are reports of users who, despite their health condition, are forced to endure long lines, reach a branch and not find medications, among other issues when claiming their medications. This can worsen their health condition, which they are compelled to endure due to the need to claim their medications to combat illnesses. This issue arises repeatedly; there are numerous cases of users reporting these difficulties. However, the healthcare system can offer few solutions. The persistence of these problems negatively affects the efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution processes used today. This situation demands an innovative and effective solution; it is necessary to address this issue, which can be done from the field of electronics, thereby improving the quality of life of healthcare system users in Colombia. To contribute to solving this issue, a prototype of an autonomous mobile robot was proposed. This robot follows a predefined route in a controlled environment on a scale, simulating a real logistics system on a scale. Additionally, it has a data reception and transmission system, which notifies the arrival of the product, allowing for monitoring of its status. This leads to more efficient distribution of the required products.
