Resumen
The project "The child as author of creative stories" is a story-building exercise by four to ten year old children belonging to the Ossan Foundation (Foundation that specializes in school reinforcement for elementary and middle school children). This exercise allows children to project and affirm themselves as authors of creative stories, through workshops that motivate them to produce artistic material from which the literary production takes place. These workshops have a Presentation, Practice and Production (PPP) approach that help children to move forward in their learning process, from a guided moment to independent execution. The workshops were developed with materials such as pencil, colors, paper, play dough, and alternative materials (sea shells, noodles, rice, fish scales, and lentils). From these workshops was obtained artistic material that was collected and made available to children for the realization of creative stories. The children created their stories orally and these were transcribed and compiled into a primer called "Stories to Remember". With this primer it is shown that children were conceived and ratified as authors of creative stories.
