Resumen
This degree project focused on the western part of the Bogotá Savannah and aimed to design a methodological proposal for the integration, analysis, and spatial visualization of electrical resistivity data from the subsoil through the application of interpolation methods in a GIS environment. The information used was provided by a company in the sector and compiled from various geophysical projects. These data were organized, structured, and weighted to facilitate their geospatial processing. A spatial database was generated from vertical electrical soundings (VES), which allowed different interpolation methods to be applied to create isoresistivity maps at different depths. These maps facilitated the identification of trends in subsoil behavior, contributing to the location of areas with aquifer potential. The results obtained allow for the standardization of geophysical data processing and the recognition of the most appropriate interpolation methods in the study area. The proposed methodology seeks to optimize decision-making for companies in the hydrogeological sector, research projects, and the preparation of scientific publications on the region's underground water potential.
