Resumen
Currently, the meat industry has implemented chemical risk management programs that enabling them, as an organization, to establish prevention or risk management systems for human health and the environment. This is why risk management program is of vital importance in order to establish the necessary measures to guarantee the health of workers and the protection of the environment. The interest of this monograph is to design and develop a methodological guide for the chemical risk management program of the company Frigorífico Guadalupe SAS, which has an identification and characterization matrix of chemical products that describes the aspects and impacts generated on the environment and workers. It includes the incorporation of a model of a chemical risk management program that links the applicable legal regulations for the proper management of these products. The methodology used in this monograph identifies the risks affecting the environment and health associated with the process, which will allow for the early mitigation of risks affecting the environment and occupational health and will strengthen environmental and operational assurance practices. In conclusion, the methodological guide will provide a valuable tool to ensure effective chemical risk management in the company, promoting worker safety and environmental protection
