Resumen
The importance of meteorology in daily life and the high costs of setting up and maintaining standard stations responsible for collecting climatological information has led to the need to find alternatives to capture, store and analyze such information at comparatively low prices and Whose reliability is high. This work presents the design and construction of a portable station operating with the free hardware platform ARDUINO, which, together with a group of sensors, has been programmed to collect information on variables such as relative humidity, temperature and barometric pressure. The portable station was installed in the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources of the Francisco José de Caldas District University and then in the IDEAM, institutions that have standard stations from which the necessary information was downloaded for later comparison and analysis, through descriptive statistics. Sampling was carried out for four weeks. It was found that the error rate between the data of the constructed station and the standard station is less than 5%, which indicates that the confidence level of the data is higher than 95%.
