Resumen
This monograph intended to crosslink two different worlds from an analytical perspective, namely Music and Philosophy. Based on the biography and description of philosophical and musical thoughts from French composer André Jolivet and Danish philosopher Soren Kierkegaard, the monograph does the description of production conditions of the masterpieces from both autors: “The Sonate pour flûte et piano” (1958) by the French composer and the book “The Concept of Anxiety” (1844), by the Danish philosopher, to do later a philosophical analysis of the Kierkegaard work, from the perspective and point of view of a non-philosopher musician, and a technical and detailed analysis of the first two movements of the Jolivet’s sonata. Those elements make together a net from both worlds, as their general thought, as their specific Works, producing as result a philosophical reflection about music and musical reflection about philosophy.
