Resumen
The main objective of the research was focused on identifying the relationship of astronomical knowledge from the observation of an annular eclipse, in teachers in training, who are part of an astronomy nursery. A qualitative methodology was chosen, to thoroughly understand the perceptions and meanings of the participants, about the teaching and learning of astronomy. To obtain the results, two questionnaires were designed, following the approach of Klein, Charlott and Zambrano. Through the Theoretical Framework of this research, the bases were established to understand the general and fundamental context of study. Therefore, greater attention was paid to the approach of astronomy teaching, highlighting the importance of what and how to teach this field, especially in teacher training in Colombia. Likewise, the curriculum of several universities was analyzed, as well as previous research on astronomy teaching strategies based on the state of the art. The research resulted in a deep and diverse connection between astronomy and everyday life, transcending the academic field and actively integrating it into personal experiences, such as astronomical events and informal talks, thus showing the relationship of astronomical knowledge from the different dimensions of knowledge (identity, epistemic and social). In conclusion, the results were established according to defined categories and the relationship with astronomical knowledge, providing a detailed view of the perceptions and needs of teachers in training in relation to the teaching of astronomy.
