Resumen
This research reveals how the processes of reconstruction of the identity of the indigenous peoples are developed, whose original ancestral territory is the city. The research is based on a look at the education that children receive in The house of thought and how these educational processes strengthen the process of reconstruction of identity of this community. The text works categories such as; Indigenous identity, infancy and pedagogies differences of ancestral peoples. It is evident the difference that some indigenous communities make between education and pedagogy, being the education, for the ancestral towns, the process of transmission of knowledge of their culture and occurs during all the life and that is not determined by a time or a space or by any certain actors, as occurs in the western system.
