Desarrollo e Implementación de un Sistema de Información Geográfica en Línea como Apoyo al Desarrollo del Plan de Energización Rural Sostenible del Departamento de Cundinamarca

Abstract

Cundinamarca its a department with the greatest electric power coverage in the country, however there is a 5% of the territory that corresponds to rural areas that does not have access to electric power service, this fact is because of the particular conditions as relief and the lack of access routes which makes electrical interconnection hard to do, is why there is a needding to develop rural energization projects using renewable energy sources supported by the geographic information system developed in this project, for which a Database and geographic analysis queries wes developed for the determination of suitable zones of implementation.
