Resumen
The work explores the concept of montage in music, emphasizing the interaction between direction and execution, highlighting two key concepts: intention and flexibility. The methodology involves the active collaboration of all members of the orchestra, seeking to create works from a flexible base, allowing each musician to contribute their interpretation and creativity. This approach is fundamental in a context where improvisation and adaptation are essential to fuse diverse influences within the repertoire. The first stage of the montage focuses on working with rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic elements, creating a space for exploration where a personal version of the works emerges in each rehearsal.
The assembly process is described as a system in which the orchestra and the conductor act within the same time frame, transforming chaos into functional order. It is argued that, as the montage evolves, both the conductor's intention and the musicians' contribution are crucial to achieving a meaningful result. The relationship between the "gears" of the orchestra is examined in terms of their interconnection and the underlying probabilities that allow them to generate unique results. This approach blurs the traditional hierarchy between conductor and musicians, proposing a model where collective creativity is the norm.
