Resumen
Bogota, as Colombia's capital and economic epicenter, provides the best conditions for the development of projects proposed by the different sectors of the economy, as the region contributes about 29% of the national GDP and has a high level of human capital with about 4.5 million economically active people in employment and 111 thousand professionals graduated annually. Among the industries with the greatest potential within the territory is the so-called building sector, which is characterized by being one of the most dynamic and promising in terms of job creation and economic growth velocity contributing with 5.4% over the total jobs of the region and presenting a 21.4% increase in sectoral GDP between 2014 and 2015; With these figures it is pertinent to carry out sector analyzes, particularly in the construction sector, based on previous studies from different sources such as the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, DIAN, COMACOL, among others, whose main objective is the generation of a general diagnosis that gives stakeholders a greater degree of understanding of the dynamics of the sector and the possibility of generating strategies that contribute to the improvement and development of the same.
