Representaciones sociales sobre la muerte: miradas desde el sentido común como sistema cultural

Abstract

The present investigation studies social representations about death from common sense as a cultural system through the direct question: What does death mean to you? With the participants it is sought not to establish an investigative intentionality accepting a principle of universality of the own experience, which enriches the results extending its acquis with the exuberance of the daily life. This research is based on the idea of contributing to a tanatological perspective as an emerging category of social study that shapes the conformation of the formal establishment of the Colombian Association of Thanatology.
