Abstract

The design of an Environmental Management System (EMS) for Cantera Villa Paula SAS responds to the growing need to effectively manage the environmental impacts associated with extractive operations. This process focuses on establishing a comprehensive framework that accomplish with relevant legal and regulatory standards, as well as promoting sustainable practices. The fundamental purpose of the EMS is to mitigate the adverse effects of quarry activities on the surrounding natural environment while encouraging the adoption of proactive measures for environmental conservation. The formulation of this system represents a commitment to environmental responsibility, seeking to harmonize extractive activities with the preservation of biodiversity and the promotion of balanced and sustainable development for the benefit of the local community and ecosystem.
