Abstract

Within the academic training offered by the Francisco José de Caldas District University for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Technology, there are various options for carrying out the degree work, among these is the internship (extension practices), which according to to Chapter IX of Agreement 012 of 2022, aims to apply theoretical knowledge, methods of analysis and development of specific activities within the fields of action of Civil Engineering. Likewise, its main objectives are: to develop communication skills in professional and interpersonal relationships, strengthen the knowledge acquired during disciplinary training and complement the academic training process. The internship within the training process of the Civil Construction Technology career allows students to enter the world of work, with the possibility of obtaining a more detailed and timely approach, within the various fields covered by this profession, serving as a source from experience.
