Resumen
The research is divided into five chapters: 1- Historical Review, where the evolution of the municipality from its indigenous origin to the 20th century is compiled; 2- Diagnosis of the Municipality, in which 8 issues of urban, rural and environmental behavior of Facatativá are studied; 3- Regional analysis, where the participation of the municipality in the projected regional megaprojects is analyzed; 4- Construction of Prospective Scenarios, where trend, catastrophic, utopian and future predictions of 6 themes are proposed; and finally 5- Comparison of scenarios with municipal planning, where the relationship between the future scenario and the main indications of planning instruments is reviewed.

La investigación se divide en cinco capítulos: 1- Reseña Histórica, donde se compila la evolución del municipio desde su origen indígena hasta el siglo XX; 2- Diagnóstico del Municipio, en el que se estudian 8 temáticas del comportamiento urbano, rural y ambiental de Facatativá; 3- Análisis regional, donde se analiza la participación del municipio en los megaproyectos regionales proyectados; 4- Construcción de Escenarios Prospectivos, donde se plantean pronósticos tendenciales, catastróficos, utópicos y futuribles de 6 temáticas; y finalmente 5- Comparación de escenarios con la planeación municipal, donde se revisa la relación entre el escenario futurible y los principales señalamientos de instrumentos de planeación.
