Abstract

This is the product of the investigation made from the internship "Earth´s art to strengthen the environmental awareness of students and other agents of the academic community of the Experimental Pedagogical School" focused on students of Initial School (children from 3 to 6 years) where through reflection, sensitization and exploration of the environment, were strengthened environmental awareness, recognition of territory, ancestral thinking and self consumption. Through of processes of aesthetic planting, exploration and creation with natural elements, assumed as pedagogical alternatives, it was constructed a vegetable garden of "Magic Plants", named by the own students, taken as a living classroom, resignifying the child as an active subject, collaborative work as a tissue social, learning as an unfinished process, art as an expression and nature as an extension of being.
