Resumen
This research covers the development and evaluation of biofertilizers from the microalga Chlorella spp. as an input to ensure better food security for the population, in addition to mitigating and preventing environmental degradation due to the indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers. Based on this, the aim was to cultivate the microalgae in order to produce the biofertilizer, and thus test its efficiency in strawberry crops by comparing it with another chemical fertilizer used for said crop. An experimental quantitative methodology was used, which showed that the application of biofertilizer at a dose of 1.06 g/0.053 m2 (T1) generated greater yield in the plants, reflected in the size, number of leaves and height of the same; which provides more information on this field of study and highlights the efficiency and potential of biofertilizers.
