Abstract

The main function of PIGA's sub-directorate is the development of the ISTITUTIONAL PLAN FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, which seeks to solve the identified environmental problems and comply with environmental quality objectives. In this way the entity involves external actors in the participation and support for the development of environmental management programs, it is there where the process established as a degree proposal begins - Internships - that refer to a practical theoretical work within a certified entity.In this order of ideas, the function within the entity is technical support, technology, environmental management and public services, the approach of one of the six programs included in PIGA, called the "environmental solid waste management program" ", In compliance with the Environmental Policy for the management of waste, adopted by Decree 2981 of 2013 and the applicable environmental regulations.
