Resumen
Faced with the increase in climate variability that has been increasing for more than a century, initiatives have been developed that seek to reduce the adverse effects of climate change in a more local way. Within these strategies, there is adaptation based on ecosystems, which, although it seems an adequate approach, requires further study regarding the limitations of these initiatives, which is how the need arises to monitor strategies such as the Sumapaz-Chingaza-Guerrero Conservation Corridor for the period of 2011 to 2021 in order to find the progress made and the barriers of the project, considering a connectivity analysis through landscape metrics, as well as the presence of the initiative in territorial planning documents, its advances in preservation and the collection and review of the documents related to the project, thus finding that in the study area priority was given to a social approach over revegetation activities, thus seeking an appropriation of the project so that it remains over time, accompanied by the increase in protected areas, progress that is not supported by the formulation of their management plans, additionally stands out a low articulation between institutional actors reflected in the different territorial planning instruments, evidencing that it is the informational and institutional organization barriers that most affected the development and scope of the project and that must be taken into account when developing future phases of this project or for other similar adaptation initiatives.
