Pasantia como auxiliar de laboratorio de suelos en la empresa Concreservicios S.A.S ubicada en Fontibón

Abstract

During the internship at Concreservicios SAS, laboratory testing was performed on materials from different regions of the Colombian territory. The objective was to determine the basic characteristics of materials for the implementation in different projects that were carried out. The internship began on July 6th, 2022. The intern fulfilled activities under the position of laboratory assistant as directed by the contractors. Trials were performed on granular materials from quarries such as Holcim, El Vinculo and Reciclados Industriales which are used in projects where the company maintained the area of quality and in others the area of audit. The first days in the laboratory consisted of an induction, recognition of distinct areas within the laboratory and their personnel. Upon finalizing the induction, the intern performed washing and gradation tests which strengthened his knowledge in different trials. The intern continued to perform compaction tests which, due to their great application in the construction industry, were one of the most complex to learn. The tasks completed helped the intern complement areas of theoretical and practical knowledge, focusing on his objective of degree under the established norms and parameters.
