dc.description | El aumento constante de vehículos motorizados en las ciudades ha generado un impacto significativo en el medio ambiente y la calidad de vida de las personas. La Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, sede Bosa Porvenir, no es ajena a esta problemática, ya que el incremento de la población estudiantil y la dependencia del transporte privado han contribuido al aumento de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) y la congestión vehicular en sus alrededores. En este contexto, surge la necesidad de explorar estrategias de movilidad sostenible que permitan mitigar el impacto ambiental de la comunidad universitaria y contribuir a la lucha contra el cambio climático. Es fundamental analizar las opciones disponibles, evaluar su viabilidad y promover su implementación, fomentando así una cultura de transporte sostenible en la Universidad Distrital. | |
dc.description.abstract | The constant increase in motorized vehicles in cities has had a significant impact on the environment and people's quality of life. The Francisco José de Caldas District University, Bosa Porvenir campus, is no stranger to this problem, as the growing student population and dependence on private transportation have contributed to increased greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and traffic congestion in the surrounding area. In this context, there is a need to explore sustainable mobility strategies that mitigate the environmental impact of the university community and contribute to the fight against climate change. It is essential to analyze the available options, evaluate their feasibility, and promote their implementation, thus fostering a culture of sustainable transportation at the District University. | |
