Resumen
This proposal is an invitation to think about the context of Bogota school and to promove a new look at dynamics colonizing of the school, showing the flaws and details of a classroom and an education that does not take into account the presence of ethnic diversity ignoring from the lens of multiculturalism. We propose a pedagogy of re-existence that allows us take an example of defense against the process of acculturation of black people in Colombia (El Palenque kuagro) and assume a “de-colonial” and intercultural education in which it can rethink the school and its dynamics. The kuagro (in school, is the proposal of a material space, of knowledge construction and social encounter that seeks to promote coexistence from the appropriation of some eigenvalues of the African Diaspora in the Americas, such as the principles of Muntu (human essence), Ubuntu (we are all one) and Uramba (a kind of reciprocal sharing). We believe that empowering these unconventional values enable us to better promote in a better ways the actions of those who will be part of the project, and the appropriation of these principles boost school life, achieving recognition of the other and allowing the encounter and diversity in an atmosphere of true multiculturalism and thereby contribute to the appropriation of human rights, especially those related to identity, allowing them to emerge in the school new strategies to ensure coexistence, and they become alternatives to building a better society
