Abstract

Information security has become a critical factor for the success and stability of organizations, particularly in sectors where the handling of confidential information is essential. The SAE, as a governmental entity, constantly faces challenges related to protecting its digital assets in the face of increasing cyber threats. This document outlines the work conducted during the cybersecurity and penetration testing internship, aimed at strengthening the institution's IT security infrastructure and enhancing its incident response capabilities. Throughout the internship, various strategies were implemented, focusing on vulnerability identification, improvement of security protocols, and staff education in security best practices. The results achieved and the recommendations provided aim to deliver tangible and sustainable solutions to ensure the operational continuity of the SAE.
