Resumen
Organizations of all types and sizes face internal and external factors and influences that create uncertainty about whether or not they will achieve their goals. The effect that this uncertainty has on the objectives of an organization is the "risk". All the activities of an organization involve risk. Organizations manage risk by identifying and analyzing it and then assessing whether it should be modified through treatment in order to meet risk criteria. Through this process, organizations communicate and consult with stakeholders, monitor and review the risk and controls that are modifying it to ensure that no additional treatment is required. (ICONTEC, 2011) As mentioned above, all projects or businesses, without exception, have implicit some type of risk; But it is also true that it is impossible to avoid all risks associated with a project, although they can be reduced by applying efficient risk management techniques. A good identification of the risk allows an organization not to be affected by overcharges, to generate bad image in the market or in the worst cases to reach the closing. According to ILO data, it is estimated that around the world the number of deaths caused by work-related injuries and diseases is approximately 2 million per year. The economic costs of compensation, loss of working time, interruption of production, training costs, doctors and the like, represent an estimated 4% of global annual GDP, which is equivalent to an astronomical figure around To approximately 1.25 trillion dollars. (ARL Sura) These conditions led to the development of this project in order to carry out a process of safety and health risk analysis based on the ISO 31000: 2011 standard for the Alcomex Group.
