This monograph corresponds to the systematization of the experience experienced between the years 2018-2019 with students from the Pasquilla Rural School who are studying for grade 701 in the morning (2019). The development is done through three chapters. In the first, the theoretical analysis prior to the school experience is exposed, there the principles of popular education and environmental education are woven that made it possible to outline a proposal for environmental popular education - EPA to be carried out in the classroom. the shaping elements of environmental knowledge articulated transversely with the EPA, and finally participatory action research is located as a methodology that enables a pedagogical action typical of the proposal. The second chapter highlights the various contexts involved in the experience, points out the particularities of the locality (Ciudad Bolívar), the school institution and the external popular process, aspects that influenced what happened with the student group. The last chapter puts the practice in a temporal perspective, from which the events are exposed, analyzed and interpreted in relation to the moment of the practice in which they occur, there we find the phases of the pedagogical proposal and the previous, consolidated or environmental knowledge. emergencies found in the school process and during its systematization.
