Abstract

Over the years there has been a significant increase in the acquisition and circulation of motor vehicles in Bogotá and at the national level, due to this an increase in thefts from motor vehicles has been generated, among which the most used theft methods are the use of a master key in approximately 48% of the cases, the use of firearms with an estimated 25%, a speculative 18% for the modality without the use of arms and 9% for other types of modalities [1]. Thanks to this, multiple GPS devices have emerged that allow managing the status of the vehicle and knowing its geolocation, but in a decentralized way, difficult to access and interact, because car owners must manage codes for their use. In accordance with this, the present project proposes the development of a mobile application prototype, through which, through the interaction of mobile devices, GPS and synchronization in the cloud, the status of a motor vehicle can be managed, and the location can be checked. geographical location of the car regardless of the location where it is, thus allowing its use in a centralized way, with easy access and interactivity.
