This document describes the standardization of the thermoforming process in the plastics section of the company Indusel S.A., proposing it through the six - sigma method, (as expressed by M. Pérez, in "Six Sigma Methodology" it is a way to improve the processes focused on reducing the variability of it, reduces the defects in the delivery of a product, as an instrument for senior management and that facilitates decision making and generate a positive impact on the profitability of the company and thus get an organization more solid and competitive, as the current environment requires it. Initially the methodology developed to achieve the implementation proposal of the six sigma methodology, includes carrying out a fieldwork, which basically consisted in achieving knowledge of the company, its organization , the current status regarding its procedure, through the application of research tools as I interviewed these, consultations, measurements, information that was subsequently organized and tabulated in the different sections of the document. In the initial part, it establishes the approach and delimitation of the problem that is intended to be solved, the justification of its development, the general and specific objective is set, a referential frame of the project is proposed. within the process for its continuous improvement where emphasis is placed on the analysis of the process data, the determination of improvement opportunities, the application of them and the verification of the final state, using the phases that are: definition of problem, measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
