Resumen
This document presents a proposed methodology for the correct realization of electrical network and telecommunications surveys, based on the field work carried out during the execution of the project called "Avenida Longitudinal de Occidente". Initially a general description of the project and the work to be done is shown (In this case, the survey carried out in one of the branches of the ALO, Centenario Avenue is taken as a basis), later the types of networks found in said zone, its voltage levels, main characteristics and the associated network operators. Then, each type of network was deepened, describing the most common structures and equipment found during network surveys, both in energy and telecommunications, and their main characteristics were mentioned. As an important point, emphasis was placed on the safety parameters required for these works, the protection equipment, tools, equipment and the safe execution of necessary maneuvers, such as the opening and closing of underground chambers. For this, a Codensa safety guide was taken as a basis and some suggestions were made. Then step by step was described the proper way to record information in the field, in cards, plans, GPS points and photographs, raising some suggestions. As an example, there is evidence of part of the work done during the surveys and the translation of that information into a digital network inventory. And finally, the implementation of a dynamic tab designed to optimize the process of digitizing the information obtained in the field and its advantages is presented. To achieve this, the standard physical file, owned by the company for field surveys, was taken as a basis.
