Resumen
Due to the obvious environmental degradation that both developed and developing countries began to face in the mid-twentieth century, and the identification of pollution as a transboundary phenomenon, that is, for the first time it was recognized that environmental problems do not know borders political or geographical, the International Conference on the Human Environment was held in 1972, in Stockholm, where the concept of Environmental Education begins to emerge formally and has had different approaches over the years. Environmental education, whether formal or non-formal, constitutes a tool for social transformation, which is why the following work aims to design and implement environmental education processes which allow, through the sensitization of the communities of the hydrographic basin of the Tunjuelo River, the appropriation and recognition of the territory, positively impacting the socio-environmental dynamics of the territory.
