Resumen
This research comes from the interest to contribute to the knowledge of political violence in Colombia, through poetry. Being the latter an authorized form to build dialogue between fields of knowledge in social studies.
Relationship between education and literature teaching is stablished with a methodological proposal developed within 5 workshops, with the student body of class number 1102 from Colegio Tenerife Granada Sur IED´s afternoon schedule, approaching different categories that emerge from the consolidation of a poetry corpus about political violence in Colombia, from the foundation of a State-Nation, until today. In this fashion and through the students´ aesthetical creations in direct relation to the categories covered in the workshops, different views learning and teaching in education are established with the aim to contribute to the knowledge of political violence in Colombia from different fields of literature.
