Resumen
This document presents a work supervision model for the application of the Build Change reinforcement methodology that is based on the standards ASCE-31 (Seismic Evaluation of Existing Building) and ASCE-41 (Seismic Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings) based and accepted by NSR-101; this methodology is focused on informal construction housing of one, two floors with heavy cover and up to 3 floors with light cover; for the creation of this method of supervision, a registration strategy was designed by means of work supervision lists, which are comprised of evaluation and photographic record items to corroborate the correct control of work execution, in order to verify the quality and compliance of each item that makes up the Build Change structural reinforcement methodology applied to informal homes, facilitate the supervision of the structural reinforcement work, verify compliance with the minimum requirements for an efficient structural reinforcement and prepare the lists of verification to the Colombian technical standard NSR-10 Title I. For this, a compilation of information was made that helped to discern the most appropriate ways to ensure the quality of material at work and the step by step of each stage of the project for the correct fulfillment of the Build Change methodology, this information was synthesized in checklists to facilitate supervisory work; After this, qualified personnel training was carried out and subsequently the supervision model was applied to a dwelling that was reinforced using the Build Change methodology located in the town of Usme. By applying the supervision model, some deficiencies were detected which already were improved to achieve the final product, it should be clear that this methodology can only be treated by technologists and construction professionals, it is suggested for its application to take as a reference document the "Photographic Guide for Reinforcement" 2 in which The process of elaboration of each stage of the construction is explained step by step.
