Seeing the benefit that has generated for education to use more and more information and communication technology (TIC) and taking into account the need to learn electrical circuits in the subject of electromagnetic physics, which is a mandatory subject in most of the careers in the technological faculty of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. A user-friendly program for simulation and help in the learning of electrical circuits was developed using the Matlab software, in addition to the user having a tool to collaborate to solve exercises, workshops and laboratories related to the subject. Specifically, the GUIDE tool hosted in the Matlab software was used for the development of our program, where a good number of exercises were designed with DC electric circuits in their different combinations (series, parallel, mixed) and with their respective passive and active elements. (Resistors, inductors, capacitors) that simulate and help develop more skill in solving them.
