Resumen
This work contains the data corresponding to the analysis of pumping tests in confined wells located in the municipality of Jamundí, department of Valle del Cauca, where the pumping characteristics are studied by Jacob and Theis methods in the confined wells VJ-102 , VJ-110, VJ-111 at depths ranging between 130 and 170 meters. Initially a description of the study area is made, including the geographical location, water sources, climate, surface geology and subsurface geology, with this information an analysis of the geology present in the different wells is made within the framework of the municipality of Jamundí. Subsequently, the transmissivity of each of the wells studied is found with the field portfolios that the C.V.C. (Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle del Cauca) supplied us, using the two methods mentioned above, a comparative analysis between the results is made and the error is calculated. The data obtained is classified in such a way that it is possible to determine the approximate production of each well and for what types of uses the production of each of these can be exploited, as well as defining the recommendations for the preservation of the aquifers. A dimensional analysis of the Theis formula is performed using Buckingham's π theorem in order to explain in detail where and how this equation was determined and its respective dimensionless parameter is found as a solution to the phenomenon.
