Abstract

This study presents the sport as a strategy of social integration to people living in cognitive disabilities and limited resources located in the municipality of Soacha Cundinamarca and methodological work that apply to take forward a project which seeks to society have greater participation, motivate, encourage and integrate people in social vulnerability condition and which have also been medically diagnosed with cognitive abnormalities; because the reality and everyday life can see that everyone on condition of intellectual disability must face a society that currently does not reach the optimal cultural level with which it is achieved understand, tolerate and solidarity with individuals who have a diagnosis based on the syndrome Down, cognitive delays or autism; It is in the vast majority of situations interrelation between normal people and people with cognitive disabilities one of the parameters that build barriers that segregate this special population and hinder the process of inclusion
