Resumen
Companies that sell consumer products often handle large amounts of inventory. This type of business has favored the development of maintenance systems that allow the proper use of spaces to guarantee daily operation. This work analyzes the case of a company that is dedicated to the sale and marketing of sugary drinks, which maintains its inventory in warehouses with vertical metal structures located in different departments of the Republic of Colombia. The good condition of these structures determines the availability of the maximum storage capacity of the warehouses and therefore, that the operation will be carried out without restrictions; However, despite the efforts to keep them always available, there is an intrinsic deterioration in the operation caused by externalities such as blows and overloads on the structure that can affect it in a wide range of possibilities from a minimal affectation to its coating, to leaving it out of operation. To carry out the diagnosis and determine the state of the structures, direct observation and specific knowledge about them is required, which would require that each warehouse have expert maintenance personnel specifically dedicated to that, which would mean a large investment since for the model of the company has a maintenance company that is in charge of these tasks for all the wineries in the country. This is where the question arises: ¿How to take advantage of the collective intelligence of the warehouse staff of a sugary beverage company to contribute to the diagnosis of preventive and corrective maintenance needs of metal storage structures so that they are more agile and precise? This work proposes a solution to this problem through condition-based maintenance planning, using a tool that takes advantage of the collective intelligence of the sugary beverage company, so that more agile diagnoses can be made to avoid progressive deterioration of the structures, without requiring a team dedicated to each warehouse. With the information collected on the damages and a heuristic with project tools for planning activities, the evaluation of the impact on time and cost of the implementation is carried out.
