Evaluación de los recursos turísticos con vocación eco turística y caracterización de la demanda turística en las zonas de uso público de la reserva forestal protectora del cerro Quininí (Tibacuy-Cundinamarca)”

Abstract

Information of the supply of tourist resources with potential for ecotourism in the "Reserva Forestal Protectora Cerro Quininí (RFPCQ)", in the municipality of Tibacuy, Cundinamarca - Colombia, it was obtained from working sessions with experts in local tourism, workshops , tours and pre-established routes where direct observations were made. Data were analyzed using Multi Criteria Analysis technique and application of the linear weighted sum, they were built decision matrices intrinsic and extrinsic criteria of biophysical, cultural and archaeological tourism resources. The resources identified with the highest score were "El Pico del Aguila" and "la Piedra del Gritadero", indicating its potential offer. To determine the visitor profile, were applied 111 questionnaires to tourists and submitted to descriptive analysis of the variables. Data were analyzed using SPSS and SPAD program. The method used was the multiple correlation which applies to categorical variables or ordinal variables, identifying trends and preferences of visitors. Finally, it was built a SWOT analysis derived from the study of the outcome of supply and demand, respectively, which allowed generating elements for the elaboration of the management plan, which would allow the implementation of ecotourism as a conservation strategy in this forest reserve.
