Mujeres Afrocolombianas Desplazadas, Victimas de Discriminación Múltiple: Marcos de Acción Colectiva de La Comadre (AFRODES)

Abstract

The present investigation accounts for the situation of multiple discrimination (for reasons of gender, race and social condition) of which Afro-descendant women are victims of the armed conflict in Colombia and the response of women's organizations such as La Comadre (belonging to the National Association of Displaced Afrodescendants AFRODES) through collective actions developed in defense of their rights. With the purpose of analyzing the organizational and mobilization dynamics of the La Comadre women collective, the approaches and theoretical elements offered by the Collective Action Frames approach are gathered from three categories of analysis: injustice frameworks, identity construction and capacity of agency.
