Propuesta de distribución en planta e implementación del sistema de inventarios en la empresa Plasticestibas Ltda

Abstract

This project was carried out to generate an improvement proposal for the PLASTIC ESTIBAS LTDA company located in the city of Bogotá D.C, Colombia, with which the implementation of a second plant in a metal structure within the company's warehouse was sought, with the In order to increase its storage capacity and be able to carry out a new distribution in the plant, in this way it sought to obtain a strategic alliance with national suppliers, who sought to expand their coverage with the help of PLASTIC ESTIBAS LTDA, once the implementation of this structure was carried out. The implementation of an inventory system was proposed, consisting of a general inventory and the implementation of a FIFO (First in First out) model, and an ABC inventory, which considerably improve decision making within the company. As a result, storage capacity will be increased and compliance with the standard regarding maximum storage height without support equipment will be achieved.
