Resumen
Administrative management in public universities is key to guarantee efficiency in the use of resources and educational quality, since proper administration optimizes costs and improves internal coordination, which is essential for academic and administrative development. At the Universidad Distrital, a diagnosis conducted by the Academic Vice Rector's Office revealed deficiencies in the current structure, which limits the full development of teaching processes and affects educational quality due to the lack of integration and internal coordination. The main problem identified is the overload in the Academic Vice Rectory, which affects the efficiency of management and procedures. In view of this situation, the monograph proposes a more functional structure for teaching processes, through a comparative analysis with other universities and an internal diagnosis. The results suggest that it is possible to improve both educational quality and administrative management through the redefinition and strengthening of existing agencies, as well as the creation of new ones, although it is necessary to consider budgetary limitations to ensure the viability of these proposals.
