Interpretación y análisis de las obras "Bambuquisimo" de León Cardona, versión de Alexis Cárdenas y "Travesías de Pajarillo" propuesta personal.

This degree work developed in the modality of Creation or Interpretation presents a study of the works Bambuquísimo and Travels of Pajarillo as well as the transcription, the assembly and interpretation of these works. The transcription was made from the record production "Bicho y Hecho" made in 2001, which was used as a reference for the elaboration of the melodic script and in the case of the pajarillo being the starting point for my proposal. From this work, different elements are presented having as reference different authors, among them, Aldemaro Romero, Miguel Astor and Alexis Cárdenas himself. As for the body of the work, the biography of the authors, the composer León Cardona and the Venezuelan violinist and composer Alexis Cárdenas, is shown first. A historical account of the Colombian bambuco, its origins, its formats, its characteristic costumes and its dance was made. Likewise, a historical account was made of the pajarillo, a Colombian-Venezuelan beat that expresses strength and agility in its interpretation and branches off from the joropo, a musical air that is taken here as a reference. Subsequently came a process of study and assembly, first of Bambuquísimo and then of Travels of Pajarillo, using the metronome as a tool to reach the speed required by both works. Another tool used was the original track of the works for study and the track of the instruments, recorded as a guide by the accompanying musicians for this purpose. With this we were able to have a better understanding of these musics and thus be able to make a much more faithful version of each one of them Finally, the process of recording, editing, processing, mixing, mastering and video editing was carried out as the last phase, having as final product the recordings of the works. The accompaniment of the piece Bambuquisimo was taken from the original manuscripts, using as a guide the guitar score for the bass and the Tiple score for the cuatro llanero. As for the pajarillo, there was no reference score for the accompaniment, this was provided entirely by the musicians who already have mastery and knowledge of this genre. The analysis is related to the artistic product, in terms of timbre and technical resources that are exposed in the interpretative analysis and in which the elements used to play these two works are reviewed. In this way, my technical and interpretative skills are put to the test in music that was not my total domain or knowledge and that, as a result of this work, I explored and got to know to a greater extent.
