Resumen
This project is focused on achieving meaningful learning of the concepts and uses of solar energy through the use of ICTs in the Rural Educational Institution María Auxiliadora de Cuestecitas - La Guajira (Colombia).
A didactic unit was proposed that contains the theme about solar energy, in which students learn these concepts in a significant way through the execution of three research instruments so that the participants showed their learning progress. With the concept maps, it was observed that they had previous knowledge, with the heuristic vee it was deepened and investigated with research on a proposed point of the subject and with the field diaries it was possible to understand the positions that the students have on what was developed in the didactic unit.
It was through the triangulation of these instruments that this phenomenological qualitative analysis originated, which led to looking at the learning process and understanding how students appropriate new significant concepts with the previous ones.
The graphs and tables representatively show the progress and affirm the conclusions of a meaningful and joint learning of solar energy proposed for the participants in the developed didactic unit.
