Resumen
This document shows and generates a discussion of the notion of neorruralismo as an analytical tool to make known this dynamic and its impact or contribution to rural areas. The phenomenon of neorruralismo, has been worked on in Europe and lacks explanation in Latin America, this situation causes that the processes of territorial ordering to not go hand in hand with the existing population dynamics. The development of this document was carried out in the study area corresponding to the Campo Santo village, located in the municipality of La Mesa, department of Cundinamarca in Colombia; where the main situations that occur in the said area were identified based on the social characterization and participation of its Neorrural inhabitants; Thus, based on primary and secondary information, it was reflected on the nature of neo-rurality in this Colombian municipality and its effects in a multidimensional way, taking into account aspects such as temporality, spatiality, and the experience that social interaction gives in the study area; managing to make known the challenges that governments must face, such as the problems associated with city-country mobility. The applied methodology was based on the collection of information through semi-structured interviews, followed by the diagnosis and analysis of the information collected, and then a proposal was made based on the experiences of the Neorurals seeking to improve population relations with the environment. Finally, within the social dynamics observed in the village of Campo Santo, it was identified that the arrival of an important population group of Neorurals corresponds to the search for improvements in their quality of life, associated with air quality, noise reduction, and availability of fresh food among others that cannot be obtained in urban territory.
