Resumen
Energy is a fundamental pillar in the development of a country, however, this development must be linked with sustainable environmental strategies that guarantee quality of life for future generations. The economic growth of the region generates an increase in energy consumption, consequently, Latin America and the Caribbean have an increase and an important participation with respect to the global emissions of greenhouse gases emitted. (UPME MIN MINAS Colombia, 2017). The largest use of electricity in the tertiary sector in Colombia is lighting (31%), followed by air conditioning (22.8%) and refrigeration (13.9%). (UPME MIN MINAS, 2015). Currently, a large part of the companies in the tertiary sector have lighting systems with standard or obsolete technology implemented in their offices, thus generating excessive and inefficient energy consumption. In addition to the high energy consumption generated by this condition, the visual and physical comfort of the workers are impaired, since the use of these obsolete technologies generates unfavorable conditions in the environment such as: increased temperature, visual fatigue , glare in vision, contrast and backlight reflections on screens; which could generate serious irreversible consequences on human health in the future. For the implementation of a solution, it was decided to carry out the pre-investment study of a company that had the capacity to carry out diagnosis, designs and implementation of class B office lighting systems in Bogotá D.C. For this, the viability of the project was verified in market, technical, organizational, legal, environmental and financial studies, which were positive, reaching the conclusion that the implementation of this project as a company is viable.
